I am a graduate student working on the world of polyploid hybridization in plants. I consider myself a fungal and plant systematist interested in how adaptive traits correlate to phylogenetic and biogeographical history. I am from Nashville and came to UTK as an Undergrad in 2007. I received my bachelor's in ecology and evolutionary biology. I then did a one year internship teaching high school and middle school biology and Also taught at Siegel middle school in an interim position for one year. Now I am back at UTK looking to learn more about plants and fungi.
